My responsibility is to promote the green transition and coordinate the overall process. The current focus is on climate change mitigation, circular economy and energy. I develop regional cooperation networks related to the theme and act as a bridge to national and European networks.
I am responsible for personnel, finance and administration.
I participate in the strategic development of Pirkanmaa in many ways. My tasks include research, development and innovation work, support for knowledge-based management, foresight and future work.
I work as a project planner in the We Make Transition!, REC4EU, VIADUCT and BEST DIH projects.
I am responsible for regional development planning and financing of development projects. Our Council also supports the regional developers by promoting their cooperation. I promote the interests of the region both in Finland and in the European Union.
I work as a project manager in the national Tehoava project (ERDF) promoting climate work and the green transition, and in the international REC4EU project (Interreg Europe) supporting the activities of energy communities.
I work to promote the regional development of Pirkanmaa and to identify and take into account the factors of change that affect the development of the region. The Pirkanmaa Regional Strategy is the most important tool in this. I am also involved in the Pirkanmaa Security Cluster.

I prepare decisions for European Regional Development Fund projects financed by the Tampere Regional Council. I also work in the national coordination of Innocities in financing tasks. I am the contact person in the Interreg Central Baltic and Europe programs.
My responsibility is to lead the land use planning and transport team and to plan and develop operations together with the team. My special expertise is Transport System Design, but you can turn to me with any questions about land use, transport or environmental planning.
